Dan Bailey, a nationally recognized leader and speaker in the character development and risk avoidance educational movement, is the founder and Executive Director of Just Say YES.
In 1999, after 22 years of sales and marketing experience with two Fortune 500 companies, Dan left the corporate world to become the Executive Director of Aim For Success, a prominent provider of abstinence multimedia programs. Under Dan’s leadership, the Aim For Success programs expanded from four to fourteen states delivering over 2500 programs per year.
In 2002, Dan had a vision to provide public and private schools, youth organizations and entire school districts with comprehensive, customized strategies that encourage teens to focus on their future and avoid high risk behaviors that could interfere with their goals such as substance abuse, violence (including bullying and gang involvement), and teen sexual activity. The Just Say YES consulting model utilizes nationally recognized speakers, multi-media programs, classroom curriculum, to provide student, parent and staff/educator programs. The model strives to supply continuous reinforcement of a focused message for risk avoidance. Studies show that providing youth with relational and factual information in this manner equips them to lead more healthy and successful lives by saying "YES!" to their dreams and goals by making positive choices.
Dan Bailey holds a B.S. degree from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. He now lives in Dallas with his wife, Sue. They have two grown children, Andrew and Lara.
Dan has given programs for a variety of audiences including SHAC Committees, parents, staff, and abstinence educators. He has given numerous presentations at Educational Service Centers across the state of Texas. Because of his significant experience in the areas of teens and risk avoidance, Dan can tailor his programs to suit any specific needs of your group.
