About the Author

In 1986, Mary Flo Ridley began presenting a popular parenting seminar in the Dallas area. The original title was “Guiding Your Children’s Sexual Values.” At that time, she and her husband, Dave, had two children ages four and one. They have now been married for over 30 years, have three grown children, and one grandchild.

After growing up in El Paso, Texas, Mary Flo graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, and taught high school for four years. In a volunteer capacity, she was a trainer for a community service organization, where she developed several training programs for members.

In addition to her national speaking engagements, Mary Flo is actively involved in her church and community, and loves being a wife, mother and friend.
