Reviews of Coach Avery Johnson's Programs
“His speech made me think differently about my circle of friends and how they have influenced me. Also, how I need to give 100% in everything I do.”
~High School student
“He helped me see that no matter how hard life gets, you can’t let bad influences get the best of you.”
~High School Junior “
He was an exceptional speaker. He spoke to us about how to ‘fight the right way.’ Avery Johnson was very avid about the phrase ‘failure is not final.’ I enjoyed his speech.”
“I know his message helped our students, but also know that just hearing him gives hope and encouragement to our teachers who work so hard with a rather hopeless population. His message of resilience is powerful for students, but for teachers to hear, ‘Three words changed my life forever’ helps to drive home the point to teachers how powerful their words are to students each and every day. Encouraging words to students can absolutely change lives.”
~Cheryl Roemmele, School Counselor, DeLay Middle School
“Coach Johnson delivered a very vital message Failure is not Final. He was engaging and honest using himself as a real life example. At the very outset he got the student’s attention with his brief video. The student audience responded well to some of the questions and observations coach Johnson posed. His presentation was very befitting to our unique student population.”
~Oliver Burbidge, Jr., M.Ed. Principal Excel Academy-JJC
“Our school truly enjoyed the visit from Avery Johnson. He impacted the students as much as he motivated the teachers. It was great that he was honest and discussed his struggles in college and that it only takes one person to believe in you, and your destiny WILL change!”
~Stonie Arbuckle, Assist. Principal Carter High School, Dallas, Tx
