Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

Is Just Say YES a nonprofit organization?

Yes. Just Say YES was founded as a 501(c)(3) educational organization in 2002.

Are your programs nationwide?

Yes. Just Say YES assembly speakers travel nationwide for student, staff development and parent programs. Since 2002, Just Say YES has given assembly programs in 42 states, impacting more than 1 million students.

Currently, the Peer-to-Peer Mentoring program facilitated by Just Say YES is available to school districts within the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. If your campus is outside the DFW area, please contact us at info@justsayyes.org and we will provide you with more information on how to bring this program to your school.

Do you provide counseling services?

No. Just Say YES provides assembly programs for students, educators and parents as well as a student mentoring program to address character development and other related topics in an engaging and impactful format. We do not provide individual counseling services or resources. If you are seeking counseling for a child, we recommend contacting your school’s counselor for services in your area. We also suggest reaching out to a local counseling center or organization to see if any services are offered to help with your needs.

How much do your assemblies cost?

Depends. The prices of our assemblies vary a bit by speaker and whether the program is local (DFW) or not. If you are seeking pricing information on a particular program or speaker, please contact us today at info@justsayyes.org and a Program Development Manager will respond to you promptly. The Funding My Program page also gives helpful tips on how to tap into possible resources for financial support.

How can I volunteer for the organization?

Contact us. Just Say YES is always looking for new volunteers and we offer opportunities to serve at the individual and corporate levels! Visit the Volunteer page to see what options best match your passion, skills and interests.

Are you hiring?

Possibly. Just Say YES is proud to hire the best and the brightest talent who share our passion and commitment to empower today’s youth. To learn more about position openings, please send us a message through our Contact Us page and a JSY representative will respond promptly.

Are any of your programs given in Spanish?

Yes. Select programs can be given in Spanish. To learn more about what programs are available, please contact us at info@justsayyes.org and a Program Development Manager will respond to you promptly.

How do I become a speaker?

Contact Us. Just Say YES is not a speaker’s bureau; however, we are always open to adding new talent to our roster. We seek highly trained professionals that already have an established platform and following. If you are interested in partnering with our organization as a speaker, please submit recommendation letters from school administrators and/or counselors, a link to your website, and a media kit and/or full length assembly footage to info@justsayyes.org.

Can I read feedback on your programs?

Yes. Since our founding in 2002, we have made it our priority to provide nothing but high-caliber programs. If you would like to receive testimonials on our programming, please contact us today at info@justsayyes.org. You may also view what people are saying on various pages throughout our website.
