Just Say YES Tarrant County Impact

Since 2002, Just Say YES (JSY) has impacted tens of thousands of students across Tarrant County in North Texas. Two high schools in Fort Worth have implemented the JSY Campus Impact Plan (CIP), which is an overall comprehensive strategy addressing many areas of need for a school. It focuses on the key building blocks of healthy development that equip students to succeed both in the classroom and beyond. The purpose of the CIP is to improve campus climate by offering high-impact programs to students, educators, and parents for one school year, ultimately providing students the support they need to pursue a better and brighter future.

The JSY CIP consists of ALL Just Say YES programming, including:

According to The Search Institute of Minneapolis, Minnesota, a caring, encouraging campus climate is just one of the 40 developmental assets a student needs in order to reach their highest potential. A few other essential assets identified in the study are: family support; positive family communication; support from other adult relationships (non-parent adults); and parent involvement in schooling.

The Just Say YES Campus Impact Plan is helping to change the trajectory of students’ lives and improving campus climate. Administors are seeing major shifts in leadership, student attendance, attitude and academics.

Our ultimate goal is to impact MORE students across the nation through the Just Say YES Campus Impact Plan. Watch this featured video to hear powerful testimonies from students and administrators participating in a CIP!
