Staff Development

Among our most valued resources are staff development programs and in-service trainings.

Caring and engaged educators can have a lasting impact on a student’s life, teaching critical lessons way beyond academics. However, we understand that naturally, issues will inevitably arise in an educator’s career such as: burnout; lack of communication in the workplace; the day-to-day battles with student classroom behavior; etc.

At Just Say YES, we want to improve the connections educators have with their students and colleagues. Whether you are looking for professional development or programs that will train staff to identify and reduce risk behaviors in students, our team will work closely with you to identify the best speaker and program fit for your needs.

Staff development programs are available to K-12 campuses across the nation, and range in length from one-hour sessions to intensive, full-day programs.

Featured topics include:

  • Burnout
  • Communication
  • How to improve staff morale
  • Leadership
  • Managing Generational Differences in the Workplace
  • Motivation
  • Power of a Mentor
  • Training on specific topics related to student behavior (bullying, depression, etc.)

The prices for staff development vary a bit by speaker and program location, as well as the desired program length (one hour, half day, full day). If you are seeking pricing information on a particular program or speaker, please contact us today at and a Program Development Manager will respond to you promptly. The Funding My Program page also gives helpful tips on how to tap into possible resources for financial support.

What people are saying about our Student Assemblies

“As an educator, I sometimes ask myself, ‘why am I still doing this?’ Gabe helped me remember why. I’m so glad he shared his story; we have so many kids going through the same thing.”

Brenda Mikesell - Richardson ISD

“Gabe has high energy, enthusiasm and a humorous wit that is impossible to ignore. The staff laughed and sympathized while Gabe shared his personal story in a joyful manner.”

Sandi Massey - Thomas Jefferson High School
